Billing policy

Clear terms for billing, cancellation, and refunds.

Tanee keeps subscription changes predictable: a free trial before payment, clear renewal choices, a first-payment refund window, and defined handling for plan changes and technical issues.

Effective 25 September 2026

Free trial

  • Starter, Growth, and Pro include a 14-day free trial with no payment method required to start.
  • Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per business identity, email address, and phone number. Repeated trial attempts may be blocked.

Prices, taxes, and payment methods

  • Payment methods may vary by country or market.
  • The customer-facing price for the selected market includes applicable taxes unless a written commercial quote explicitly states otherwise.
  • Invoices or receipts can be provided when requested or when required by local rules.

Renewal and cancellation

  • Renewal follows the option selected by the customer at activation or later in the subscription lifecycle.
  • You may cancel future renewal at any time. An ordinary cancellation leaves the paid subscription active through the end of the current paid period.
  • After cancellation, no new renewal is charged unless the customer activates renewal again.

Refunds

  • The first paid transaction is eligible for a refund request within 7 days of payment.
  • After that first-payment window, an ordinary cancellation does not create a partial refund for unused time.
  • If a verified technical issue attributable to Tanee materially prevents use of the service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, Tanee may refund the unused remaining part of the paid subscription period.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges are reviewed and corrected after verification.
  • Nothing in this policy reduces mandatory rights that apply under applicable law.

Plan changes

  • Upgrades can take effect immediately, with any applicable price difference confirmed for the remaining billing period.
  • Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle. Immediate downgrades are reserved for support-led resolution of a documented issue.
  • Existing data is not deleted because of a lower plan limit. New activity above the new plan allowance may be restricted until usage is reduced or the plan is upgraded.

Failed payments and access

  • A failed renewal payment receives a 7-day grace period while the customer resolves the payment issue.
  • If payment remains unresolved after the grace period, operational access may become read-only or restricted until the subscription is restored.
  • Tanee does not delete business data immediately because a renewal payment failed.

Data after cancellation

  • After a paid subscription ends, Tanee targets a 30-day recovery and export window for business operational data.
  • After that window, operational data may be deleted or anonymised, except records that must be kept for billing, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Third-party services and WhatsApp

  • Meta, WhatsApp, and other third-party services remain subject to their own availability, policies, and fees.
  • Third-party messaging fees are not included in a Tanee subscription unless the published plan or a written commercial quote explicitly says they are included.
  • Businesses are responsible for having a valid basis to contact their customers. Tanee applies configured consent, STOP/opt-out, and current-phone protections in supported WhatsApp workflows.
